European Master Tailor
In November 2005, after many successful years in north Toronto, Nikos Nicolaou has opened the new, self-titled business Nikos Custom Tailoring and Design in Yorkville. Nikos is a second generation Master Tailor who was born and raised in Europe. His tailoring and style is influenced by the fashionable European trends.
With a gifted eye for detail and strong desire for perfection, his unique design and hand-finishing techniques have taken custom tailoring to a whole new level of excellence. Nikos demands nothing but the finest imported fabrics from Italy, France and England. Designer fabrics he works with include Emenegildo, Zegna, Dormeuil, Scabal, Cerruti, Lessona and Barberis.
All custom garments are measured, cut and made on the premises by Nikos himself. An important first fitting is required, where any adjustments are made to the garment to ensure a perfect custom fit.
Nikos produces professional quality tailoring for all sizes of men and women, and specializes in “big and tall” custom, hand-made suits. Remodeling and alterations are also a specialty.
It is rare to come across an individual like Nikos Nicolaou who possesses so much passion for his work.
